Dunmow Rhodes v Onley Arms Match Preview
PREVIEW
As the December fixtures are soon to be underway, Dunmow
Rhodes host Onley Arms in the league at the High Easter Ground as the two
square up for the first time this season.
With Dunmow Rhodes coming into the game off the back of an
8-0 demolition of Witham Nomads and Onley Arms losing 6-1 the previous week at
home, it was fair to say the odds were in favour of the home side who would be
looking for another 3 points to add to the 14 they have already acquired. As
for Onley Arms, they knew they were in for a tough game especially as they have
only won once all season as they sit in the drop zone with just 4 points and a
goal difference of -25.
A promising sign for the visitors is the injuries to 2
starters for Dunmow Rhodes from their last game in Joshua Breeze and the tricky Spaniard Emilio
Caceres – Sola who both limped away from last weeks game. On a positive note
for the hosts they will see full back Harrie Irving return to the bench after 2
months on the side line and due to shortages up front striker Samuel DuBerry
looks good for his first start amongst a troublesome few weeks for him.
Onley Arms are expected to come into the game shaping up
very defensively with their work cut out, however unlike their opposition they
seem to have steered clear of injuries and have no such issues when it comes to
naming their full strength side for this league matchup.
Its not a certainty what we will see come the morning of Sunday
the 2nd of December however when one of the worst defences in the
league comes up against one of the sharpest attacks in the league you would think
the result is heading only one way and this is in the direction of Dunmow
Rhodes who sit 4th in the league table.
