Dunmow Rhodes v Witham Nomads Match Preview
MATCH PREVIEW
Sunday 25th of November see’s Witham Nomads host
Dunmow Rhodes in the Malcom Foy Memorial Trophy at the Braintree Leisure
Centre.
The game which kicks off at 10:30am promises to be an
interesting one with a few points separating the two sides in the domestic
league despite Dunmow Rhodes running riot with an 8-0 win the last time the two
met back in late October. Dunmow Rhodes will be looking to repeat their biggest
victory of the season come Sunday despite missing some key players with injury
however the returns of captain Johnathan Alexander and joint top scorer Charlie
Gooch should boost the team morale as they look to make the quarter finals of
the competition for the second season straight.
In an interview with Dunmow Rhodes midfielder George Hamill
on Wednesday after the team’s training session he was asked on his recent form
and after scoring in the last game was he raring to go for Sundays game of
which he replied “obviously I would love to score again however the most
important thing is to make sure we win the game and reach the quarter final of
the cup”. I also Asked Hamill on the returns of captain Johnathan Alexander and
top scorer Charlie Gooch which he responded positively by saying “ having JP
(Johnathan Alexander) back is massive after 2 months away from the squad and he
is vital to the defensive line and Charlie no doubt will come back in to the
team and do what he does best and that is scoring and assisting goals”.
